Who We Are

Founded by Cain Sellers in 2007, Rye Stairs has become the premier destination for builders, architects and those with an eye for interior design.

We believe that stairs can be both functional and beautiful, and our aim is to invoke a certain ‘wow’ factor for anyone who sets eyes on them.

Rye Stairs specialises in custom made internal and external solid timber and steel staircases.

We can design and construct staircases for your new or existing building, from concept to completion.

We also cover all of Australia depending on the proposal, ask us about some of our national projects in states other than Victoria

Meet The Founder

Cain Sellers

A master craftsman, Cain Sellers has been designing and building architectural staircases for over 15 years

From an early age, Cain has been fascinated by beautiful architecture and design. Pursuing his passion, Cain started his career developing and flipping homes on the Mornington Peninsula, using it as a creative outlet to hone his already sharp eye for design.

Cain then went on to become a registered Building Surveyor and has 6 years boots-on-the-ground training. Due to this, Cain has in-depth knowledge of building legislation to ensure that your project goes as fast and efficiently as possible.

Cain has created a committed and passionate team that support him in providing incredible, complex, architectural stairs.

His work has been featured extensively on TV and magazines such as Vogue Living.

The highlights of cains career had been working with some of the most Renown and well known architectural firms in Australia to bring their vision to life; some of cains more well knows staircases.
